ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATION

St. John’s School proudly celebrated its annual day with the theme, Incredible India, a tribute to the rich cultural heritage, diversity, and unity that define our nation. The event was a vibrant tapestry of dance, drama, and music, beautifully showcasing the essence of Unity in Diversity. Students from every grade and section brought alive the colorful traditions of India with mesmerizing dance performances representing various states, from the grace of Bharatanatyam, the fluid movements of Manipuri dance to the energetic beats of Bhangra. The highlight of the Annual Day was an electrifying ensemble of Karnataka’s rich folk dance forms. The performance brought together the energetic Dollu Kunitha, with its dynamic drumming and rhythmic movements, and the graceful Kamsale, known for its mesmerizing blend of music and synchronized artistry. Engaging skits highlighted the lives of historical figures from different religions and regions, exemplifying the timeless values of compassion, courage, and harmony. These performances reminded us of the importance of unity amidst diversity. The evening was filled with soulful group singing, resonating with messages of peace, togetherness, and pride in our shared heritage. The presence of our esteemed chief guest, Dr. George Lekha, Principal of Mount Carmel College, added inspiration to the celebration. In her heartfelt address, she motivated students and parents to embrace values of excellence. The event was also a day to honor and celebrate the achievements of our students in academics and sports, making the evening even more special. As the curtains fell on this spectacular celebration, the audience left with a shared sense that Incredible India had truly come alive through the talent, creativity, and enthusiasm of our students Let’s continue to cherish the beauty of our incredible country and uphold the values that unite us!

SCICRA EXHIBITION

St. John's School hosted its highly anticipated SCICRA exhibition on December 6th, showcasing exceptional student talent. The science, art, craft, and commerce exhibition featured innovative ideas and models which were well received by all the visitors. The school also promoted entrepreneurial skills among students by encouraging them to set up stalls featuring handmade jewelry, decorative Dias, henna designs, and temporary tattoos. The school’s creative transformations added a magical touch, with classrooms uniquely decorated to reflect the students' boundless imagination and talent. This exhibition stood as a testament to the school’s commitment to nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and collaborative effort.

ANNUAL SPORTS DAY

St. John's School successfully organized its 17th Annual Sports Day. The action-packed event featured a wide range of sports, including:200m, 300m, and 600m running race, Relay and tug-of-war, Running Race, Hurdle Race, Tug of War, Bunny Race, Jellyfish Race, Sack Race competitions.

The chief guest, NALLABOTHULA RAGHU, an esteemed Athletic Coach from the Sports Authority of India, Mr. T. Gopi (Indian Army representative), an accomplished Indian athlete, and Mr. KANKALA VISHNU KUMAR PRASHANT, an esteemed Hockey Coach at NSSC Bangalore graced the occasion.

Obituary

Ruby Ma’am wasn’t just the force behind St. John’s School—she was our guiding star, our mentor, our leader, and a true inspiration to every one of us. Her warmth, vision, and endless dedication touched our lives in ways that should be our source of motivation in the coming days.

 

Ruby Ma’am built this school from the ground up with passion and a belief in the power of education. She instilled in us values of compassion, resilience, and excellence, which will continue to guide us. Her contributions are the very foundation upon which we stand, and her spirit will forever be a part of St. John’s School.

 

Let’s use this time to come together and support each other through this difficult period. Let us take solace in the fact that we are all united by the love and respect we have for Ruby Ma’am.

 

As we honor Ruby Ma’am’s memory, let’s also commit to carrying forward her vision and values in everything we do. Her legacy lives on in every classroom, every student, and every one of us who had the privilege of knowing her.

The Month so far! 

Our school is a busy beehive of activity. We have various activities, competitions and events to keep our young minds stimulated. This section captures all that our students have been doing over the past few weeks.

Club Activity

On January04th, our school came alive with enthusiasm and excitement as we hosted another thrilling club activity day. The event was a spectacular showcase of teamwork, creativity, and friendly competition, offering students a platform to unwind and tap into their hidden talents. From mind-bending puzzles to adrenaline-pumping games, the activities were carefully crafted to cater to diverse interests and age groups.

Christmas Celebrations

St. John's School transformed into a winter wonderland, as students from all grades came together to celebrate Christmas. Students showcased their talents through songs, dances, and skits, filling the air with festive cheer. The entire school was abuzz with excitement, as students and teachers alike reveled in the magic of the season.
