CISCE - The Premier Education Board in the Country.
It has been designed to provide an examination in a course of general education in accordance with the recommendations of the new education policy 1986(India) through the medium of English.CISCE offers more balanced syllabus compared to the other board in India. The focus is equally distributed on language, arts and science.
ICSE lays more emphasis on lab work. Internal assessments are vital and practical tests are aggregated with the overall scores.
ICSE includes detailed study of subjects, an edge over English literature and language and is more flexible in nature.
Group 2 (Optionals) : Mathematics/Commercial studies
Group 3 (Any one of the subjects): Computer Application/Home Science
A third language will be introduced in Grade 4 and it will continue up to grade 7. Options : Hindi and Kannada
There will be an internal examination for Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) and Community Service and the result will count towards the award of the ICSE Certificate.
